Design Your Messaging

Meaningful and purposeful action starts with 'why' - for both you and your participants. Reflecting on and defining both the purpose of your exchange and what you will do with the results, sets the stage for what participants can expect and gets them excited about joining the conversation.

Purpose of the Exchange

  1. Pick the purpose of your exchange from the list below.
  2. Click the Copy to Design space button.
  3. In the Design space, reflect on the "points to ponder" and use your answers to create your messaging.
 

Develop Your Question

Now that your introduction is developed, it’s time to craft the right question.

The best questions invite participation and avoid steering the conversation in a predetermined direction. We’ve got a few tips and great questions starters to help you build your question-design muscle and create an exchange that will really have impact.
